I had it in my mind that I wanted a 3-Zipper Bag. I couldn't find any in the shops that fitted my requirements, so I made one. I have used it to the point that it's starting to wear out but it's been a wonderful addition to my accessories; and it's been ever so handy - it's compact which means I'm not carrying the kitchen sink around with me anymore; and it doesn't break my shoulder with unnecessary weights. Why on earth did I ever think it was a good idea to carry everything with me, every time I left the house? I actually did a mini survey of what I kept in my handbag and over time, what of those items did I actually use! I soon came to the conclusion that I could get by with just my phone, the keys, a packet of tissues and lip gloss, as a minimum!!!

Rachel's Tote Bag
"Yep", I'm uploading some of the bags I've made over the past 12-18 months!!! I think I might be nearly at the end...
This was the first, and last, time I tried the "Card Trick" block! I like it. I made it for my niece's birthday.

Rosie's Bag
My apologies for the photo being slightly blurred - my eyes must have been a bit out of focus the day I took it!
The bag is made in Japanese fabric - navy & beige on the outside and the reverse [beige & navy] on the inside.

May's Bag
... another bag!!! This one is called a "Princess Bag". It was made for May who is a Scot but works in the Middle East - she and her husband came and stayed with us [they actually came to be keynote speakers at a conference we were running], and I made this as part of their thank you gifts!
And "yes", it's made from a range of aboriginal fabrics - I was really happy with the end result - another bag I'd love to make for myself... one of these days I shall!!!

Japanese Bag
... for the want of a better "title"! It's made from a range of Japanese fabrics - I've made 2 but have given both of them away as gifts!!! I've got fabrics cut ready to make myself one but know in my heart of hearts that I'll probably give that one away as well... I love the fabrics and I love the bag - it's so purposeful!!!
Felicity's Tote Bag
One of many - I love making Tote Bags - they're easy and yet each one is different using an array of techniques.
This is made from calico with a "block" as a feature - the reverse is quite heavily quilted.
