It looks like a mug rug but it isn't. A friend Danish heritage asked if I would make him this to put under the tray which holds a pack of playing cards so that he, they, we could slide the tray holding the cards from one end of the table to the other, with ease.
And so this Danish Flag thing was born. It's a bit bigger than my Flag Mug Rugs which measure 9" x 6" - I can't remember the dimensions on this but it's not a whole lot bigger - maybe 12" x 8" or 9".
Anyway, he's ecstatic and uses it all the time. And maybe in between games of cards, he uses it as a Mug Rug, as well?
