Sewing and Lingerie

... and so out of mothballs came my sewing machine - yet again - and it was from this time right through to today, that me and my sewing machine have been the best of mates. I enrolled at Adult Education for a Diploma in this age-old craft and loved every aspect of the course - even to the point of submitting some of my lingerie to State & National Shows and taking home a bagfull of First Prizes. But like knitting, and crochet before it, I was always looking for a new challenge in threadwork and was introduced to Tatting - wow! I was in lace heaven...
